You Are What You Do.
You are What You Do... I know that sounds strange for a subject, but I was
reflecting back on some things I tell a lot of people that I
work with at my J.O.B. So, what is it that you do? I mean... --> Are you a person who writes or says one thing and
does something else? --> Do you say that you don't like "Hype" and fill your
sales letters full of it? --> Are you a procrastinator and try to push others not
to be? I believe that everyone online needs to "get real". Be
yourself and stop trying to emulate the "GURUs". By being
yourself, you are opening the door to others to communicate
with you as a person and not some kind of business or money
source. I like straight talk. Stuff that seems sugar coated or
fluffed up beyond recognition turns me off. So, getting back to the subject of this article and completing it... You are What You Do... When Nobody is Watching. You may ask, "What on earth do you mean by that, Leon?" Well, to be absolutely simple, just do everything that you
do with the conviction that somebody is watching all of the
time, every move you make, every word you say. Listen to that still small voice and do the right thing... ALWAYS! A still small voice? That might be your heart speaking to
you -- It may be the things you remember from your childhood
that your Mother taught you -- or EVEN the quiet whisperings
from God. It might even be your conscience if you have one
(and I think everyone does). Make a commitment today to follow your own principles when
you are sitting at your keyboard trying to develop a web
page or sales letter. Give yourself credit for being honest
and faithful to your own belief system. Copying other people
in business is not you! Don't be afraid to be yourself and let others know who you
are. If you made the mistake of lashing out at somebody and
are afraid to show yourself, then you need to apologize and make things right. Most people will accept an apology and
things will get back to normal afterward. I have been guilty of just what I said. But, I realized my
mistake and made it right. But, in all of your dealings
with people, remember... You are What You Do When Nobody is Watching! Peace to you and yours,
