Tips and Tricks
Though we all try very hard to make things work well in our web pages, there is usually some little quirk that keeps us from making that page just the way we want it to be. So, what do we do? We look for ways to implement tips from friends or tricks that we see on other web pages, right? What else can we do? Well, I am associated with a webmaster from the UK whom I respect and admire. He is a member here as well and he goes by the ID of TheWebmaster. Yes, it is the one and only Ian Traynor. He publishes a weekly newsletter that is widely read and I look forward to being able to read what tips and tricks he has in store each week for us. I don't know how he keeps bringing all of the great stuff that he writes. He is simply amazing! I try to do all I can to promote people. People are what makes life interesting. I don't find a lot to say that makes sense usually or even seems relevant, but I can always help somebody even in such a small way as writing something positive about them. I suppose a supportive post about an individual or some personal opinion of somebody else is a way of advertising for yourself. At least, I would like to think so. Give yourself a pat on the back if you are able to be open to the concept of building relationships online. Give yourself another pat if you can work in a group setting without feeling that you are in competition with anyone else in the group. Take time to say Hi to a friend that you have not seen or spoken to in a long time. It may do your heart some good. Tips and Tricks was not what you expected and that is why I wrote it. There are some tips and I did play a little trick to get you to read about my online friend. |
